Darwinism

This is what my horoscope says for the upcoming week... what does ineffable mean??? I will google it.

I bring this to your attention, Virgo, because I want you to be very careful not to let your love of logic and reason damage your capacity to perceive magic and enjoy the ineffable. Ideally, of course, you'll always be able to draw on both capacities equally. It's a crucial moment in the evolution of your power to do that.

Brown Eyes

The first poem ever written for me...

brown eyes

lost somewhere in the past and future
spinning amongst the time in between
stuck gasping for a fragment of fresh air
while flashes of you is all that can be seen

the lingering truth of the over and done
traps me as the freedom of time unfolds
the now is only a meeting with sincerity
one that makes me disoriented and cold

you create moments which ignore time
ageless as your brown eyes articulate
grasping our memories of days gone by
my fear of confront and will it be too late

so please wait while time is abandoned
my soul will expose all it has to commit
as I search for a chance to know our touch
don’t give time the ability of passing unlit
